I've known about this recall for a month or so. Had my vehicle in for other issues and while they said they were aware of the recall, they didn't have a fix yet. Then I started getting notifications on the infotainment system that I needed to bring it in and they still said no fix. Now I got a letter in the mail telling me to bring it in so I guess we'll see if they have a fix for it.

I got my recall letter Tuesday after coming home from my first service at 5000 miles. Dealer did not mention it when I was there.

FYI, at my service yesterday, dealer inspected mine, build date 1/6/22, rivets were properly formed, so my recall is closed! Initially, they said "we don't' have the parts, so can't do it yet." I asked my service advisor to proceed w/ the inspection, so I can know if safe to use 3rd row or not. He said "sure." On pickup, recall was closed, as inspection showed all was well.

Asked my dealer to do the inspection so I could know whether or not I could use the seat regardless of whether they had parts to do the fix. They did, and said my rivets were fine.

Apparently, most vehicles pass the seatbelt inspection. Mine did. The rivet was ok.

We do the inspection at my dealership and if rivets are fine then you are good to go.
