3rd row seats wont come out help pleas

Just picked up a 01 tahoe.The third row seats are giving me trouble.Im able to pull lever one for the left 3rd row seat but not the right side.Seems the lever #1 wont pull up,i was trying so hard i was bending the lever,how do I get that heavy seat out?

went back out to mess with the 3rd row seats and the lever pulled up like butter.Who knows what the deal is but its good now!!!

sometimes you might have to pull back on the top of the seat (like pull the headrest toward the back) to get the seat to release.

took the 3rd row out and boy you can definatly feel the power.I have a lot of trunk space which I need so when I feel I need the 3rd row again ill just plop them in there.Now I have to gets matts seeing as how winter is right around the corner!!

They aren't THAT heavy...not enough to notice a giant increase in power. I don't notice any difference if I don't have my son in the car, and they weigh about the same.

Ya they weigh 70 lbs and with 70lbs out of the truck,surely it helps with mpg and with power......Not a whole lot though
