Hi. I have a 98 Tahoe with a blown vortec 350. I have a good vortec 4.3 v6 out of a 97 s10. Can I put this in my tahoe? What all would I need to change? Exhaust, wire harness, ecm, etc. I have both complete vehicles. Thanks!

It would be pretty easy. Pretty sure you could just swap the ECM and injector plug and just wrap up the other 4 injector wires if that would be easier than swapping in the S10 harness. Exhaust could be handled by an exhaust shop (if you don't weld your own) or you can find the necessary parts from a 4.3 Silverado at the salvage yard. I'm sure you already know, but if you go through with it, be prepared to allow LOTS of acceleration space when merging and don't ever try to shoot a gap in traffic. It would be as dangerously slow in traffic as a 4-cylinder S10.:p

unknown at this time.
with that vehicle weight you will be lugging the engine so much you will have a very short life on it and be always at risk of overheating. i strongly advise you don't go thru with it.

Hmm what they said ... or ... just cause you can do something does not necessarily mean you should do it. :)
