Gee, thanks for the compliment. So glad to see that offering up a possible solution means that some ungrateful, insufferable punk-ass with no respect for someone else is free to pass judgement on what someone else has done.

Time to grow up, and a get a clue.

Oh, and learn English. ******* morons. TXTing isn't a language.

sorry if i just want to have a clean look instead of the bolts/screws/nails sticking out. never put you down in my post, i only said it didn't look clean. never gave any indication of disrespecting you in any way.

oh and my post wasn't in texting language. as you can see i didn't use any abbreviations or any of that crap. sure i didn't capitalize stuff or use good grammar but if you haven't noticed most people don't capitalize or use the far extent of perfect (or close to) grammar on forums. my post was easily read and understood so before you go bitching people out just look around and accept it. if you cant understand the post due to horrible grammar or by the use of texting language then you have the right to ***** them out for it but this is not the case here.

BB - I DO owe you an apology. I read Riviera's post about my truck being ghetto (blah, blah, blah), and lumped your post in with it.

I would've used the factory mounting brackets and screwed them to the body for a much cleaner look, but the truck I took the flares off of had an enormous amount of brown cancer..... I do think they'd look much better without the screw heads showing (which is why the fronts already have screw caps). The back flares will be removed when I do some bodywork to fix my crunched rear quarterpanel, and screw caps will be used then.

My intention is to use some Urethane sealer to smooth the transition from the flare to the body, and then spray the entire truck with Al's Liner, a product much like Rhino Liner, but in a more economical, at-home application.

My Tahoe is used for work, carry tools and materials as a General Contractor. I'm not concerned with getting it "pretty".
