4 vs 5 leaf spring pack

I had went to a salvage yard today to pick up some replacement leaf spring packs for my 4dr tahoe and options I had were 4 spring leaf pack off of a 97 tahoe and a 5 spring leaf pack off of a 98 yukon. Just wondering if 5 spring packs were standard on yukons or something? Ended up going with the 5 spring pack assuming that the 4 spring pack was shot by now. Had over 200k on it.

My 96 4dr came with 5 leafs.

Don't quote me on this But I believe it may have to do with having a Towing package
