@NickTransmissions - I wanted to get your opinion. I currently use a corvette servo and Transgo 4l60E-BOOST 0.500" boost valve in every rebuild.
1. Would there be an improvement if I start using the SK4L60E shift kit? It includes modifications to both the servo and a boost valve. I was thinking of continuing to use the corvette servo and using the SK4l60E along with it. So I would stop using the Transgo boost valve and use the one that comes with the kit.
2. With the modifications it includes for the servo, is a corvette servo still necessary? If I use the corvette servo and add the springs and grind the cover like the kit suggests, would that end up with a really firm shift? Most of the people I sell to are just replacing the transmission in their full size SUV or truck. Most are not looking for really noticeable performance upgrades.
