Hey guys!

Hope you can help, as I have exhausted my knowledge.

2007 Yukon SLT 5.3 4WD

About a week ago, my Service 4WD Light came on. Scanned the computer and got the U0102 (Lost Communication with Transfer Case) code.

1. Selector switch wasn't lighting up, so I started with a new switch ($35). Did not fix the issue.
2. So I, yesterday, replaced the Transfer Case Control Module (TCCM) (after disconnecting neg terminal and draining the ECM. Selector switch now lights up which I start the truck, but goes out immediately.

Code is not being thrown any longer, but will also not shift in to 4WD.

Any recommendations would be REALLY APPRECIATED!!!

I assume this is the Auto 4wd 2-speed TC (RPO NP8). What brand of TCCM did you buy, and doesn't it have to be programmed to the vehicle?

I think RPO NP8 is for the push button shift...I have the turn selector. Purchased Dorman Part Number 599-192 (RPO NQH).

The Dorman version is really the only thing on the market any more, that I cpuld find. They tout that reprogramming is not needed, but will be taking the truck to my guy tomorrow, just in case.
