So just came back from the garden, and there is a steep offcamber climb into the field, 4 low just creeped up no issues

coming back down I was in 2 hi and decided to stop and grab a picture of the rear flexed out

went to put it into park, let off brake and it slowly rolled forward; so I hit the brakes, tried again from 2nd to park...slow roll, the park pawl wasnt engaging

so I proceeded and got onto "level" ground still fairly steep and park engaged like normal???

So I said WTF and put it into low range and creep backwards until it was twisted up///no park

is this designed to not engage so the pawl doesnt get broke off if people dont apply parkbrake first>???

very weird, just curious

Thanks

Most likely being flexed out pulled your shifter cable out of adjustment and it wasn't fully in Park. Otherwise in a situation like that, NEVER trust your Park pawl. Always use your parking brake.

okay that makes sense: I wasn't in a bind (due to wt) so I didnt set park brake

weird thing is it didn't "ratchet" like old TH350/TH400 it just creeped

I will look into the cable and it's attachment points to move or loosen them

it was weird, indicator went to P (cable driven) tranny didn't go into Reverse
(actually "flashed" converter to check that)

I will check cable

Thank you, something I did not think of...Cheers
