4l60e replacement

3rd and 4th gear on my Tahoe went out but t I have access to an 05 Yukon with a 4l60e in it as well. Will the 05 be compatible with my Tahoe?

It could be worse...... I got this vehicle that needs a part because it is making a noise while turning in a direction only when it is cold outside and sometimes it does it only when I am driving toward the southwest while I have a cheeseburger and a milkshake in my hands. Oh yeah and it will do it when I have the radio on or off. Rap or rock and sometimes it doesnt do it when country is playing. Do the windshield wipers matter? Because I am a little low on tranny fluid. My tires are brand new and I dont know how old the upper radiator hose is but one time....at band camp.

Yes, that dent in the windshield absolutely can be repaired by an Asian if you park with the door facing the east and use a trampoline bolt.

With the information given I would say yes. On the bright side the OP was in the correct section.

Easiest way to check for compatibility is compare the color of the wiring plug at the transmission. If both transmissions have the same color plug then a direct swap. In 2005 GM put a Speed sensor on the tranny. You can use a 2005 tranny in a 2003 vehicle(Just dont plug anything into the speed sensor) but not the other way around because of the speed sensor.
