So I am swapping out a transmission on my 2000 GMC Yukon Denali with the 5.7 L V8. The old tranny that came out had the 4l60e with the 298 mm shaft. The transmission I got ordered in came with the 300 mm shaft and the 300mm torque converter. Will this bolt up to my flex plate and work with my setup. Any suggestions greatly appreciated

No it will not if you have the LS version of the tranny. GM does sell a kit to make it work. However you need to remove the old alignment pins from the block which is a nightmare. This is because you have to put a cnc made aluminum spacer between the block and tranny.
