I know there are many write ups and discussions on here about this topic, and yes I have read most before i posted; however none of them were exactly the issue I'm having. Wanted your input. I have an 04' Yukon XL 2500 with the Quadrasteer, 4wd. It goes into 4 wheel low almost every time, but does not want to go into 4 wheel high EVER and NEVER. Just blinks. Other than a 'Service ride control error', no 4wd errors come up on the dash. The buttons are orange and not red. So, if i am in 2wd, i stop, place into neutral, and it will slowly switch into 4 wheel low 80% of the time, sometimes it goes right back into 2wd. I'm pretty sure the front wheels lock into place, it feels like they do. If, while in 4 low (sitting still) i switch into 4 wheel high, it either goes to 'auto 4wd' or back into 2wd. I cannot get it to go into 4 high, and 99% of the i cannot get it to go into auto 4wd, unless it decides too. Again, no service 4wd light. When I first start the vehicle all the lights, including the red neutral light comes on briefly and then go away, except for the orange light to indicate i'm in 2wd. TCCM? The buttons? Encoder motor? Front diff (don't think its this one). I have a friend who states that he had to put a body control module on his for this, but that doesn't sound right either. I don't know. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm going to check all connections tonight or tomorrow. Thanks! Kevin
