4x4 not engaging

well there had to be something wrong with my new 94 yukon the 4wd is not engaging at all no lights are lit up by the floor shifter however if i shift it to 4lo the truck will shift into lowrange however i dont thing 4wd is operating then either

i checked the fuses the 4wd one was blown but after replacing it still dosent light up

also confirmed that the lights are not blown and the fuse did not re blow still no lights on

i would check the shift linkage make sure nothings broken i believe even the 94s had some sort of vacum pump that had to lock the hubs in , try getting on some loose dirt to see if you have wheel spin, does anything creak or sound broken?

No vacuum pump but you just narrowed down to wiring if no lights are active even with headlights on. But also inspect transfer case with for a broken one as it feeds power to the front axle actuator.

cool im gonna pull the skid plate tomorrow and just start backbrobing the harness

x2 On the actuator. Ive already had to replace mine.

no just use an adjustable wrench tighten around it.
