Well removing the negative cable for a couple mins will make the truck do a new idle re-learn etc. When changing a new emmission/intake sensor I always do

And I aways run my pump first on start up. Good practice

Belt squeal should be unrelated

If you can obtain/borrow a scanner to observe intake air and coolant temp that would be useful information to have. You could check the power/control wire harness connectors at the coil packs for corrosion on the connections.

The harnesses to the crank and cam sensors could be checked. When you replaced the maf did you look at the cable connector for corrosion?

Another possibility is the knock sensors and their cable connections.

Corroded connectors can confuse the PCM. Engine vibrations can create electrical noise or static on sensitive control circuits.

One overlooked cause can be a marginal battery that starts the motor, but has internal loose connections.

Getting the engine scanned for engine related codes, even if the CEL is not lit might help.
