Despite what everyone who’s never done it has said, 5/7 drop is extremely simple aside from the c-notch part

Front there’s a ton of ways to achieve 5”

Belltech drop struts flipped to the bottom of the control arm with stock spring, DJM upper arms and drop spindles is what I did with zero issues with over 200k miles on the setup

Or you can get some DJM 3” drop arms if you want to waste money instead of flipping the strut on stock lowersView attachment 453867

-C-10 6” rear drop springs
-Belltech 2410 rear shocks with 4” extenders
-Spohn panhard bar and adjustable trailing arms if you want the wheels perfectly centered forward and back
-C-notch

Yup. Run a helper bag in them though because they have a softer spring rate. Air Lift 60742 is the part number for a 6” drop spring

You might have to try one of the off brands on eBay. Someone said the good brands are a little stiffer so I’d try something cheap first and the bag should help stiffen it up

If it makes you feel any better. The express van comes with the struts on the bottom of the LCA. Probably similar to other HD trucks.

Makes me feel better about it. I’ve had the hardware to do the flip for awhile but I’ve been a little nervous to do it. I’m currently on the 2/4 Belltech 753 kit.

That doesn't look like a load bearing strut to me. Looks like the coils spring is sitting in a pocket in the LCA. @Tonyv__ do you have a top side pic of that?
