5 lug to 6 lug conversion help please

lol i wish but i had a 97 2dr 4wd tahoe but my motor locked up and it went to the junk yard wasnt thinking should have kept it and see if those hubs would work lol

I believe you can use 1990 to 92 C2500 brake rotors. Has to be 2wd light duty 2500, because the heavy duty trucks had 8 lug rotors and a much heavier suspension. The light duty 2500 was pretty much the same suspension as the 1500, but the back had bigger leaf springs. I believe after around 92 or so, ALL the 2500 trucks were 8 lug.

not really sure just was going by what the online parts store said but i wasnt thinking it wouldnt tell me that it would fit if im trying to change or modify something ....yes im a idiot lol and but i am sure its a spindle
Understandable. When it comes to modifications, you’re not gonna find cross compatibility parts on regular parts websites. You have to rely on videos and help from others who have gone through the trial and error periods for you. Just from the feedback of this thread, I can see that the 6 lug conversion is easily achievable. Good luck

Good info, I feel fortunate to have found a drum to disc conversion kit for my daughter’s 91 Chevy S10. A company call r inline tube put it together.
