55w HID - fit?

I installed the 35w with no problem but i couldn't get the 55w to fit!!

Any tips or tricks to get it in? where did you mount the ballast?

I have TYC's so I dont know if its the same but I had to loosen the metal plate a little to get the tabs to seat like they are suppose to. I went from 35w to 55w and had the same issue. I also ended up sealing the bulbs with a little silicone as added security.

I mounted my front ballasts in the engine compartment near the front on the fender wall. My thinking was to try and keep most of the road salt/grime away from them.

I used sheet metal screws to screw them into the inner fender walls.

I'm confused. I have OEM headlights. My DDM 55w kit fit like a factory bulb would........

My DDM kit came with wrong Orings. They came with black THICK orings, needed orange thinner orings, bought another set of bulbs thinking they sent wrong type, got correct orings, all is well.
