6.0 idle?

What are those of u with 6.0s idling at when ur at operating temp....?

Both in gear and stopped...and in park?


I have an 02 esky with the 6.0.... And sonetimes it feels like its ideling low.

Bout 600rpm in gear and stopped..

Bout 800 in neutral....

I mean... The truck runs great... Sometimes when im runnin headlights i notice the digital odometer flickering lightly.... Not a big deal... But makes me think... Charging issue... But volts are up at 14ish.... So thats what got me thinkin maybe idle is to low... Altho i havent checked while acceletationg...

Sounds about right to me, that's what my 05 Esky does.

I noticed also like you the voltage seemed a little low at idle. I repleced the battery and voltage is higher now with the newer battery. I knew the battery was getting weak as I was able to kill the battery with the stereo on at low volume in the driveway in just about an hour.
