Hello,

Old pictures from the long gone Project Denali... I am a visual person so I figured these pictures may help someone who is running into this common problem or has to perform this repair soon.

Supplies
2 knock sensors
Knock sensor connecting harness
Intake manifold gaskets
Block valley gasket
(optional) throttle body gasket, though I believe this is reusable style
Degreaser or brake parts cleaner
A few beers and shop rags

I like to clean everything I work on, you can remove the foam on the front and rear bottom side of the intake if you prefer. It tends to retain water. You can also silicone around the knock sensors so water intrusion is no longer an issue. Happy wrenching!
