6.0, stock exhaust, no cats. how's it sound

Anyone with a 6liter, all stock exhaust and no cats out there? I been debating on removing my cats but wondering how much different it will sound. I know the exhaust smell will be stronger, but don't want it to sound like crap. Nothing is wrong with my cats just doin it to free it up. Anyone done this, I'm guessing it will throw a code correct? Also my buddy has a stock tbss muffler he said I can have, you think it will give me a different exhaust note than my stock unit? I have an 03esv

I have a neighbor that did that to his SS and honestly i dont like it. At an idle it sounds mean and deep but when u give it gas it sounds like a fart can... Get some high flow cats and some nice mufflers with 3 inch pipe and u will b golden... But thats my opinion

Exhaust wise do u want your truck to sound loud and deep or do you just want to stick to stock sound.

i have ss longtubes (no cats), magnaflow's largest 3 in 3 out. a little louder than i wanted but sounds great
