6.2 Swap???

I know this might sound a little crazy but has anyone ever swapped the new 6.2 motor and trans into our body style? I really want to try it but don't want to waste the money if its not possible.

It can be done yes.There are several sensor harness's you would have to buy to make the motor run...
I dont know of anybody off hand thats put a non gmt 900 turck/suv..A few tbss guys are toying with it but nothing yet..

It is possible, but you need new motor mounts and will have to do some fabbing to get the 6spd transmission to fit.

It will be easier to run the 6.2 with a 4speed tranny. Just get the box for the crank and do the swap. Run it off your stock pcm retuned. I want to do this swap someday with a 6.2 modded for v8mode all the time. Camed, with some longtube headers and a custom tune.
