Did you check any out yet?

Funny you ask going to look at one that just came available just down the road.

Your reasoning has sound advise in it, I will also go look at an Escilade, there is one not to far from this one, but I'm just not that fond of the looks of the Esci as I am the Tahoe.

I tend to agree with you. My main reason for not getting a Tahoe was I didn’t want the 5.3L and risk dealing with oil consumption on the 5.3L plus wanting the power of the 6.2L. And it was easier to find an Escalade or Denali with the options I wanted. I wouldn’t have passed on a Denali if it were the right colors and price but the Yukon isn’t the most handsome vehicle with its huge headlights and tiny grille. I like the Escalade’s looks overall but the chrome was way too much. I ended up buying all the paint to match pieces for the 12-14 Premium Escalade and having it painted which cost a lot more than I anticipated because of the three stage paint but it turned out so nice looking that it was worth it.

That first link is a dealership about 20 miles from me. They always have a good inventory but I have heard bad things about how they handle customers post-purchase. Anyways, I would love to have a 6.2 hoe! Love those engines.

All 6.2 L9H's were required LTZ option. That was one reason they did not stay in production, too close to the Denali in price..

SwathDiver, you should have bought mine..remember, it only had 45,000 miles on it plus dyno tuned, Baer brakes & Hotchkis Suspension.. I do miss it, but my old Oldsmobile soothes the pain
