They are Toyo Open Country M/T 38x15x16's. It's got 11" of lift. I went ahead and had the ball joints replaced and 4 new shocks when I put the new tires on along with an alignment. I was going to with a bigger tire but they don't make a 40" tire in a 16" rim anymore. I tried a Irok 41x14.50x16 but it was going to hit the frame with a sharp turn. It was huge! Check out the photo I have attached. It was going to take a some minor trimming to clear the fender wells. There is just not a lot of options if you want to go bigger that a 38" up to a 40" tire if you stick with the smaller rims. I'm old school and like the ballon tire look. I tried an Irok 39.5 x13.50x16 and it is too skinny and was about the same height as the Toyo 38". On the next rebuild it's time to go with a straight axle and some 44's!

Anyone here running 37s with a 6" lift and no body lift? Based on these pics, it looks possible (he's running 36s). He does have the 6.5" Dick Cepek lift though, not sure how much of a difference .5" will make, especially when you can crank the keys. I'm installing the BDS lift since the Dick Cepek is no longer available. Thinking of going with some Toyo Open Country 37/13.5R17.
