6" lift HEIGHT measurement???

Hey guys im in the process of purchasing a lift kit . My issue is I live in a Building and MAX CLEARANCE is 83"

as of now if stock height with (245/70/17 wheels) .. and im at about 74" to 76"

SO my questions is HOW BIG CAN I GO . I want a 6" but im afraid that with a good set of MEATY Tires I wont clear.. Any HELP I can get on How to figure Final Height Would be great .....

I doubt it will clear with the lift and bigger tires. 3" is most likely your safe max lift IMO

LOL this brings back memories ... I have an 86 Blazer that was lifted about 3 inches. Parking underground in downtown Boston ... I cleared the big sign out front and proceeded to rip off a sprinkler head just inside.

lol..thanks guys. I did some math and I clear by about 1"

So from the Looks of it , it aint gona work ....

So as of today im looking for a little beater as my Folks House is about 10 blocks Away from my Apartment so It will be Sleeping at there place...

Yeah, this is what I'm afraid of. My girlfriends gonna be pissed when I come to see her in Tampa and have to park like a mile away because I won't fit in that ******* low ass parking garage, but big ******* deal, I'll stay out in the streets like a true bro.

So there was this one time I was going into a parking garage and fit through on the way in. But didn't quite fit on the way out. Scrapped up the paint on the roof, pulled the cross members of the rack loose and broke off the third tail light.
The chick that was riding with me thought it was a little funny. So I did too.
