Ya bud I'm not looking to go that tall. I'm getting back into overlanding and a mid size lift is ideal for overlanding.
As well as a good set of A/T's.
A mid size lift from my past experience with overlanding is more agile, more articulate with decent down travel and better center of gravity with some of the steeper angles on inclines and declines.
So with keeping at 33 inch tires on my 17's the transmission won't scream with my stock 305 gears.

It seems to me running 33's wont look that good with a 6 inch lift and will serve no Overlanding function... 4 inches is plenty.

My rig has a 4 inch lift on 315's (same height as 35"s) 10 in travel up front and a very comfortable ride with King shocks it handles great on and off road. 75 mph desert roads are a breeze and it sill handles rough stuff... I have done 3500 off road a year with no complaints.

What ever lift you get if it doesn't increase wheel travel too, it will do very little overall.. Wheel travel is very important off road for making the ride more comfortable and also maintains traction better. Be sure you have a two speed transfer case that is a huge factor off road..

Lots of shade and the kitchen is mounted behind the spare tire rack also have a full size 5 inch mattress for sleeping. Check out my buidl thread if you want more ideas..

So anybody running a 6inch lift with 33's?
Want to see how they look.

I want to put a 6inch kit on my Yukon but with only a 305 gear set up ( not regearing anytime soon) anything more than 33's and my tranny will scream kill me now. Lol.

I would like 35's but ya way to much for my tranny and gear set up.

Right now I have stock tires on the stock 17inch rims.

Thanks all.
Just go with 34” tires.
