Did you hit it with a stethoscope to sort out which one it is?Uh oh.
At least it's an easy/fast fixUh oh.
Nah I'm at work, I heard it when I parked. Took the vid to listen to later when I get home. I'm thinking it's the idler to the left of the alternator. I replaced that when I first got the truck.Did you hit it with a stethoscope to sort out which one it is?
I hope so. Hope it aint the alternator or PS pump.At least it's an easy/fast fix
From the vid it definitely sounds like the Idler pulley. But even if it turns out to be the alternator that's an easy fix, too, just more spendy than the idler pulley. Alternators on these rigs is pretty much a 30 minute job if you relax and take your time.I hope so. Hope it aint the alternator or PS pump.
Need to see if I saved my lifetime warranty receipt for that for my cheap ass. From the vid it definitely sounds like the Idler pulley. Should be pretty easy to determine which one is making the racket once you get a chance to dig deeper after workNeed to see if I saved my lifetime warranty receipt for that for my cheap ass.
