91 silverado grille on a 95 tahoe?

I need to get a new grille for my 95 Tahoe and found a 90 Silverado grille I kinda like the older grille and was wondering if it would bolt up right or should I just get the correct replacement?

It will fit, but ONLY if you swap over to the 91 style bumper filler as well. The grill hooks into the upper bumper/bumper filler and its a different style. I remember when my lil brother installed a 94-95 grill on his 1990, he had to install the upper bumper filler piece as well. Other than that bumper piece, its a direct bolt on.

^^^ hes correct. the 95+ the filler is separate from the grille , on the 94 and below they are attached to the grille .

Can't say that I've seen may go backwards for the grille. Most swap for 94+.
