93 blazer random stalling

Today it quit spraying out of the injectors completely. Ran fine when pouring gas into it. Noticed it has a code 51 now. So what number so I go by to replace the pcm/prom?

code 51 indicates a prom issue. did you get this code before you removed it? pcm part number is 16168625. can use either of these:

interesting thing tho that is not the originally installed pcm that is in yours now. it has been replaced before.

The code didn't show up until after. But I know 100% that it's in the way it came out. I noticed that it said remanufactured, but didn't think much of it

so when you pull the prom out then the code showed up? not before? that is normal. just wanted to be sure. it is unusual for a prom to ever fail. proceed with the repair and good luck. when done go over connector and grounds again to ensure clean terminals all around. this may have happened before hence the remanned pcm you have in there now.

I found a wiring diagram online and I'm going to use it to tap the injector wires at the computer and again at the injectors to bypass factory wiring. If they work then I guess I have a bad wire somewhere, if not I can see if I can Find a truck like mine to swap out stuff with right quick for a test before thinking about a pcm/prom. I haven't had a chance to test the egr because it won't run right now.

The guy at the local junk yard let me try a new computer and prom over night. So far so good.
