iirc with some key jacking you can manage 285/75/16 dimensions without jacking it was 265's. this should give your suspension and steering full travel with out rub. make all the adjustments with weight off wheels .do not jack more then 2 inches and stop all jacking if one of the screws bottoms out. bring the other to match that one but they will likely not have the same amount of threads showing when finally leveled. expect the ride to get a little stiff as a results.

285/75/16 will give you no issues and will fit on a stock suspension with no modifications. You could run a 305/70/16 tire with slight rubbing and may need to crank the bars a bit.
285/75/16=33x11.50x16
305/70/16=33x12.50x16
As you can see they are essentially the same in size but the 305 is an inch wider.
