Hey folks, longtime lurker but this is my first post. My power door locks stopped functioning a few months ago. Door switch and fob would trigger the relay but no life to any of the actuators.
I spent three hours today chasing wires and fuses trying to isolate the source of the problem. I finally found that the hot lead to the B fuse was loose. After some squeezing and swearing I managed to fix it and all switches and fob are now sending juice to all actuators.
BUT, now it's like there's not enough power coming through, so the actuators move, but not enough to actually fully engage or disengage the locking mechanism. I'm now at the limits of my technical troubleshooting ability and hoping someone here might be able to help.
Additionally, if I hit lock or unlock 5 or 6 times in rapid succession, each consecutive press seems to provide less and less power to the point where there is barely any movement from the actuators. Waiting a few 10 seconds or so restores it back to the base (insufficient) level. This happens with or without the motor running.
Thanks in advance!
