Yesterday after driving about an hour, I stopped at the grocery store and when I came back out and put my Tahoe in drive, it started shuddering. At first I thought it might be a bad plug, but in park, it idles just fine. It shudders in drive and in reverse, idling and at speed. There are no leaks in the cooling system, the oil and coolant levels are fine, and the air filter is good. When I stopped, there was a small amount of smoke issuing from near the "vortec" box. On a possibly related note, the temp gauge is stuck on its lowest point, 100.
