96 tahoe.........bigger size oil filter than factory?

305 and 350 have the same filter ... saying you are using a truck filter on your car is like me saying I use a high performance Camaro filter on my Tahoe. They both take a #5 filter.

I think he was talking about this ^^ part of the post. I've heard them referred to as ''truck'' filters before since that is what they came on.
