I have a 96 2 door Yukon and i don't even know where to begin with all the problems this truck is having. For starters, i went to start it up the other day and had no luck. after a lot of research and a mechanic consultation, it was found that i needed to replace my spider injector. So a couple hundred dollars later, i pick my truck up and it starts just fine. But i notice that it's vibrating more than it ever did before, almost epileptic seizure status. but then it eventually subsides so i just chalk it up to the truck getting used to the new spider injector. Also when sitting idle at a light or stop sign, it jerks as if it wants to accelerate. and does the same thing in reverse and park. the only time it didn't do it was in neutral. and even while driving, mashing on the gas, the truck never accelerated or went faster initially. it o my did so after about 3 seconds of continuously mashing on the gas. but after so long it eventually subsided. that was last night.

this morning i started driving to work and the same problems. extremely heavy vibration. jerking when idle like it wants to take off. having to hold my foot on the gas to get it to accelerate. and then once again, it all subsided. then i went to drive around the corner on my break and hear this weird rattling noise from under the truck and it would no longer drive forward or in reverse. just glide as if it were in neutral. putting the car in reverse, neutral, and drive created this loud rattling noise didn't matter if my foot was on the gas or not. i look under the car and see my drive shaft hanging.

i know that was extremely long and drawn out but do you guys think this is related to the spider injector being put in or is this unrelated? I've been told i need a new u joint for my drive shaft, but does it sound like anything else might be wrong? i don't want to just fix my drive shaft situation only to be hit with another one. so any ideas are more than welcome.
