So anyway as my other post truck only has 119,000 but also supposedly (along with transmission) had the intake gasket replaced. Judging from other topics regarding this the flat spot on the dist should end up pretty close to parallel with the back of the intake angle. If thats the case my dist is turned counter clockwise a little bit. Before i possibly start wasting my time turning it so it runs a little smoother till i get it to the shop as i dont have a scanner. The truck idles perfectly and only shows any signs of timing once i get above 1500rpm. With that said any geusses if the distributor was put back in correctly (tdc cyl 1 and all) or did they miss a tooth or 2 and ill have to remove it to make it right.
