Hello everyone,

As the title says, my 97 Tahoe's wipers "bounce back" at the bottom of the wiper cycle when I use the intermittent switch. I just replaced the circuit board and that had no effect. The wiper motor is a re manufactured unit according to the label on it. Should I just go ahead and replace the motor or is my linkage just worn out? Any thoughts would help.

1997 Tahoe LT 4x4 5.7L with 162K.

Thanks!

I can't post videos or pictures on this forum with my phone. My wipers cycle properly but when I turn them off they briefly park in the normal spot then jump up about an inch to rest. Sorry if I seem to be hijacking this thread.

Its the circuit board on the wiper motor. Dorman makes a replacement one you can buy at any auto part store. I would recommend replacing the whole wiper motor because its only like $15 more and most of the time it has a lifetime warranty.
