97 yukon mirror weird screen reads (pics inside)

hey guys

I have a problem with mirror screen's readings !

it shows weird readings

its totally useless ... no compass readings .. no temperature readings !

where do you think is the problem ?

is it the mirror or some other part maybe causing this defect ?

Can you take a picture of the whole mirror? I know there is a mirror with this stuff but don't know much about it. It probably needs to be programmed

Try squeezing the edge of the mirror near the comp/temp screen... Or press and hold the temp button to change from celsius to fahrenheit... Or press and hold the comp button and do 5 mph doughnuts to calibrate the compass...

Gzes here a pic from a mirror from Monstar_est87 thread back in 2011... my mirror is just like this one but minor difference in buttons text..Mine have COMP/MIRROR buttons.Comp for compass and Mirror is for mirror dimming system.



I tried squeezing and tired from pressing comp and temp buttons without any result.

I Will try calibrating and hope it works.

but if it doesn't work what it means ? I must change the mirror or some sensor ?
