98 AC Blower Motor

Hi everyone i have a 1998 tahoe 4 door and the AC blower motor turns itself on every 30 minutes or so for about 5 seconds and then turns back off. Now this happens all night long until it drains the battery dead by the morning. I have no idea where to even start with this issue but a new battery is expensive.

Faulty HVAC controls maybe or a short in the wiring.

if it happens when the key is out first test your high speed fan relay.
