I'm surprised the motor needed replacing so soon. the 99 Denali we had is now at 220k (brother-in-law owns it now) and is still going strong.

the po didnt take care of it at all.. there was enough stop leak in the cooling system to stop a bus.. the guy i got it from has never had a v8 run on all 8. did i "need" to replace the engine, probably not. but i didnt want to go through the trouble of heads if the bottom end was shortly on it way out.. the biggest reasons i bought it was it was cool car and big enough to take the fam around and visitors, and cheap.
