Hey y'all. I'm having an issue with my truck. Whenever the engine warms up the check gauges light turns on, but only when I stop, soon as I start to accelerate it goes off. I have checked my oil level and that is in normal operating range. Also this didn't start happening til installed a new radiator. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks guys

stop driving it now! only the engine temp and oil pressure would set that light on. with the new radiator did you reattach the oil cooler lines. what you indicate happens does not coincide with a oil level that is correct.

Thanks for the reply. I went in for an oil change and I had over filled it after I put the new radiator in. The light no long comes on. All is right in the world.

you must have been sucking air then. that had to be a big overfill to whip up the oil with the crankshaft. hope you bearings did not suffer any.
