Yes this has the auto option and it's the front seal for the front drive shaft. I'll get under and take a look at the model numberIt's the front output shaft seal. Do you have the "Auto" option on the 4x4?
The push button transfer case without Auto is a NP243, with Auto is NP246. Check the data plate on the back of the case, it will have the model number at the top (I think it reads 243GM or 246GM). Your photo looks like a 246.
The GM part number is 12474947 (NP246) or 12384477 (NP243). I'd call a dealer to confirm, though.
