Haha probably wouldn't make it a quarter the way up it lol I ordered the ac delco wires from amazon for $44 not bad. When they get here I will put new plug in #5 and change out wires. I'm wondering about a week ago I made sure my timing was on it was on -1 so I moved it to zero it wasn't no problem bit I've read to do it at normal operating temp. That's what I did but my hand had to touch coil I'm wondering how hot should it be getting. Because my hand touched it for a couple of mins while loosening dizzy bolt ot was hot enough to leave a small blister and my hand really red...is that hot normal?

Unless the pcm is setting a p1345 code leave the dizzy alone. And yes the coil will get hot. Just like everything else mounted on the engine.

FWIW I had a hell of a time chasing P0305 misfires - did all these things you and SunlitComet have mentioned (cylinder pressure test passed, replaced all sparks, replaced all fuel injectors, etc etc).

Finally learned that two of the valves were burnt out and stuck, on cylinder 5 and cylinder 7. Compression tests passed because it would only happen under load and at different fuel/air ratios (why yours happens on 2nd gear?). I had the headers pulled off and sent to a machine shop for complete remanufacturing. Also had the engine cleaned out completely. I suspect the previous owner did not treat the fuel & oil very well, and had coolant leak...

Lucas Fuel Injector cleaner and Marvel Mystery Oil should be standard operating procedure. Whenever you get it resolved, add these regularly to keep it clean.

That is wrong to do. If you need additives to keep it running properly then it is not fixed properly and needs to be done right.

It don't happen in 2nd gear when you take off in 1st it's strong real strong, when it goes to 2nd you can tell it's weaker and when it goes to 3rd it gets even weaker....the wires were delivered today I got the new plug I'm gonna install and take a pic of the plug in the morning after I get off from work.

And by the time it gets in overdrive it's skipping....you let off the gas for 10 or 15 seconds and let it coast it's gone...
