99' Yukon SLE Stumbles when pressing gas pedal hard! Need help please!

I have a 99 Yukon Sle. The problem is when I try to take off at a light of make a quick pass my truck stumbles and stutters. Sometimes act like it wanna cut off but don't. Also my Acceleration is sluggest. I'm thinking fuel pump, plus my gas gauge goes crazy jumping back and forth. Any advice would be great. Thanx in advance.

expect a somewhat wandering gas needle but have your pressure checked for sure to eliminate the possibilities.

I checked the pressure today. It was at 46psi, so I looked up the proper psi and it said it should be between 65-70psi. I changed the fuel pump and put on a new fuel filter. The filter was very clogged and black gas came out!

I would keep an eye on that filter. And change it again soon. Sounds like something nasty got in your tank.
