99 yukon started screaming and grinding

then assuming that one was not faulty the issue my reside with the front axle. but you really have to find a way to pull those tccm codes otherwise it will still just be a guessing game.

I tried to drive it todayand the grinding noise it made was coming from transfer case have no reverse or park

Dumb questions, but its got to be asked.
Did you fill the transfer case with fluid?
Have you checked transmission fluid level?

wow that makes a difference. i am sorry but stop driving immediately. with that info it now sounds like your sunshell in the tranny broke. if so you are on your way to a catastrophic failure. sorry i don't have better news but based on that new info that is what it sounds like. loss of gearing should be your primary concern at this point. the loss of park can be the parking prawl in the tranny pan being broken.

Not to be rude, but if you don't know what those are, this is likely way over your head. Hell, I know what they are and it's way over my head. Transmission shop.

sunshell is 624 in the picture. tranny must be torn down to get to it. the parking prawl is 995 but has other linkages tied to its function.
