I was able to get it back about 6pm last night and it started without any hiccups. Did a bit of running around and then came home. Went out once more and heard the alleged "piston slap".

I asked if there could be a shimming problem and mechanic didn't think so. Didn't get a chance to get a scan done but I'm gonna head out after the Jint-Bills game and see what it says.

No noises today, about 8-10 starts! No codes either, scanner said 0. No stored codes or anything. Gonna try and get the timing checked this week barring any other starter related problems. Thanks for your input fellas..:High 5:
