I have a 99 Yukon with some issues hoping for some helpful advice.
A whining/ light grind coming from somewhere? Fairly steady howl thru out all gears and completely stops as soon as the gas pedal is released.

Sounds like differential problems causing maybe all the concerns. If you can do it look at the fill plugs of both diffs and see what the fluid looks like. Metal in it? Grey in color? Smells burnt? Does it make a difference in 2wd as opposed to 4wd?
