I finally got a chance to take a look at it. Before buying a tech II, I figured I'd hook up the smoke machine, because the way it felt with no codes made me think it COULD be an air leak.
Sure enough, it is
. The catch is, I have no clue what belongs in the hole that's open ROTFL.
Front, passenger side of the intake manifold, at the base, just inboard of the front-most end of the fuel rail. Picture is looking down from the throttle body between it and the intake duct.
