Very easy to get to/swap out, but the part is a little spendy. $150 at Advance. Worth every penny not to sweat...

Mine did that but later when started up it was fine. I had my mechanic check it out and he said it was switch on the ac system on that round thing under the hood. He said my condenser was frozen up and the switch which acts like a thermastat froze so had to be replaced. I forgot what it is exactly (round vertical canister). I checked my ac 3 months ago and it was full and asked mechanic to check it which he tells me he did not. The a/c worked fine since then but today noticed a lot of water under the truck more than normal in usual place. Then late there was none and carpet was wet which wife felt a drop hit her toe and we could not find any water or anything the first time around when mechanic replaced the switch. This time their was dame front passenger floor and very wet saturated on passenger side second role seat. None other than those two places. By the time i got to cousins house off the mountain froma trip the front floor board passenger side was saturated and was warm. No antifreeze smell at all. First thought was the frozen up condenser doing this since it thowed out but figured since it was 5 days after it got fixed it would have thowed right away when fixed. We noticed water coming from outside fire wall and under the truck at the wheel well passenger floor area. I could not find a water drain tube but only a nipple like thing in that area just below the round canister so my cousin ran a wire in it and then they ran a compressed air in there in the box were the heater core and condenser is. Cousin says it was full of water but thought it was stopped up and running the water in my floor. ideas on this if this is right and what all i need to make sure my mechanic checks wehn i take it to him on Monday? I do not want him to over look anything this time and want it fixed and to be sure everything is right. I'm already looking at getting a new master put in and synthetic brake fluid put in. Also want the valve seal thing fixed thats above the oil plug as it leaks a little and make sure there is no new leaks as it was the only thing leaking before. I am ready for new plugs and wires soon I think. I want to head off anything that needs fixed in the next few months or so all in one wack.

I had a similar problem and it was the blend door actuator. Very easy to check and fix..

You had it leak all in your floor due to the blend actuator? Is that in the dash side of the firewall?

Should the lines goin to the evap from the compressor be cold? after i bought the truck the compressor was replaced cuz it was "whinning". sometimes i see water drippin down. today i was at autozone buyin oil/filter. came back to the truck and it wasnt blowin cold. started to drive off and it started to get cool. seems like it should be colder. my mazda 6 has more miles than my nbs and i never replaced the compressor or added frion. any ideas. i grab the lines to the evap from time to time (today) and they werent cold whatsoever until i got about a inch from where it connects to the evap....
