Hey All,
New to the forum, never needed to join until now.
I have a 97 4Dr Tahoe. The air blows in all locations except floor. Could this be an actuator problem?? Or a control problem??
Does anyone know where the wiper pulse board is located??
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Can't help you really with your problem but welcome to the forum man!! Lots of very knowledgeable and helpful guys who will help you out soon. Could be an actuator problem or its common for the control board to get shorted out and have problems from the antenna cable falling and touching the open circuit board on the back of it.

Thanks for the welcome.
I thought of the control board and have had it out. Looks fine. I dont want to just start changing parts in hopes of getting lucky.

Yea I'm not sure how to test the control board. Mine looks fine also but I shorted mine out myself and all of a sudden the fan speed control had a mind of its own.. Haha. Someone will tell you how to test everything out and isolate the real issue. Good luck!

monitor the actuator movement from just above and to the right of as pedal for proper operation. and wiper board is in the wiper motor assembly.

Thanks for the info, but this actuator seems to be working ok.
Here is what is going on. A little air blows out at the floor, more at the defrost and this never changes reguardless of the position of the selector.
Air will come out the midlevel vents when selected, but always at the floor/defrost.
Does another actuator control this? Where would it be located?

no. look at the left side of hvac assembly near gas peddle. you should see some linkages near the motor. the must work together in order to perform the needed functions.
