My 03 'Kon has a problem with the a/c. The condensation leaks inside the interior and gets the passengers footwell soaked. I've checked and cleaned the drain a number of times. Any ideas? Help?

no solution yet. I can hear water sloshing around in there. There's got to be a fix for this.

Are you sure that the leak is not coming from the Door seal. Those tend to leak and get in the interior......check the headliner do you see water spot?

If you have door seal leak, water gets in the side pillar and make their way down to the footwell and probably get in the HVAC that's why you hear the sloshing water. I doubt it's AC problem from what you are describing.
(Use RTV and run a bead around the rubber seal)

Are you sure its the condensation from the a/c and not the heater core leaking? If it is hte a/c drain tube, it must not be connected to the evap housing

I dont think its a door seal because the carpet is never wet after a rainstorm or after washing the truck. Its only wet after I have been using the a/c for a while. Plus i sometimes see dripping coming from the panel below the glove box - and I can hear the water sloshing around.

When i create suction on the drain on the firewall - water comes pouring out. But i have to create a vacuum in order for it to drain. That tells me its not blocked - its just not releasing the water for some reason.

Its not the heater core because there is no smell from antifreeze at all. Its just plain water. Plus my radiator level has never dropped.

its possible something may have come unattached down there - but i dont know what to look for.

Your drain *is* blocked. You have to create suction to get water out, that indicates there is something blocking it.

Yup!!...I agree, definitely a blocked drain.

I don't see any other way besides the seal leak for water getting in.
