Can anyone help me figure out what could possibly be wrong with my a/c? My passenger side floorboards are soaked. The air kicks on and off. The driver side blows cool, however, the passenger side blows really hot. I know some possibilities such as a clogged/loose cord..or the heater core going out ( I PRAY not). But I have NO idea where the cords are located...any guess:emotions122:ers??

Its really hard to point out the problem for the mechanic well at-least i will try to provide you with the diagnostic options. Check the faulty high pressure switch bad wire connection at high pressure or at the compressor clutch

Is the carpet soaked with straight water or is it coolant? It could just be the Ac drain backing up. Do you have a sunroof? Could be that drain acting up. I have a pass side leak ( haven't fixed yet) that only shows up in hard rain so you need to get it dried up and figure out when exactly it is getting the carpet wet.

The compressor cycling is probably because it is low on freon since you said its just cool.

And the different temps on both sides of the truck is usually a blend door actuator problem even though most times I have seen that problem it is hot on the driver side and cold on the passenger side. Do you have the digital climate control or just the 2 sliders for the temp setting?
