Hi everyone!
My truck: 1998 tahoe Lt 4dr 4wd 5,7 vortec (with rear A/C)

My Front A/C is blowing cold but in "long" trips after 45 min at least (expecilay freeway driving) it starts blowing warmer and stibilizes on a poor cooling.

The system has been leak-checked and charged at an a/c shop at the beginnig of this summer.
Rear a/c is fine.

What can i check?

thanks

I am no expert but seems I had this problem as well. I think it is something with the low pressure hi pressure switches.

Nope looked at my receipts and ended up with a compressor. The clutch would slip after long runs. Figure on $500 if you pay someone. I had to because of no a/c equipment.

They replaced the drier as well when mine was fixed 4 years ago. I just had the low pressure switch quite on mine.

unknown at this time.
if the rear is perfect whether the front is goo or bad, look into and orifice valve issue or a defective temp control issue in the control head/hvac housing.
